Wicken archery club is based in the Northamptonshire villages of Wicken and Silverstone.

The outdoor season runs from second week of April until Mid September shooting Mondays and Tuesday evenings at Wicken sports field plus any time no one else is using the field. Targets are available at any distance up to 100 yards.

The indoor season is held Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm-9:30pm in Silverstone Sports pavilion. Indoors is a maximum of 6 bosses at 16yards.

We run three competitions throughout the year. One indoor Stafford in March, a York/Hereford/Bristols open on the first Sunday of June and a competition on behalf of Northamptonshire on the first Sunday of August which has an open section for archers from outside the county. All our competition entry forms and results since 2003, along with those from other County clubs, are available on the Northants Archery website.

We hold a limited number of beginners sessions each year split between indoor and outdoor and currently charge £30 for a six week course with all equipment supplied. We have club bows available for both senior and junior recurve and compound disciplines.
